How an occupancy dashboard review proceeds
A fixed sequence used across Bangkok city hotels and Thai resort portfolios—built for revenue managers, not for spectacle.
Collect the exports you already trust
We start with the last 90 days of occupancy by segment and the next 60 days of on-the-books room nights. Night-audit quirks are noted early so charts do not pretend at false precision.
Name the decisions the board must serve
Before redrawing anything, we list the questions the revenue manager must answer this month: which nights to release, where compression is real, which segments are displacing higher-rated demand.
Rebuild the view hierarchy
Sellable occupancy leads. Pickup by lead-time band follows. Segment lines stay only when they change a rate or inventory move. Channel detail becomes a drill-down, not the primary face of the board.
Annotate and walk through together
The pack arrives with circled soft nights, displaced segments, and written next steps. A live session with the revenue team—and often the GM—locks a shared reading of the booking window.
